I’m currently studying at the University of Ostrava, where I’m pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics.

Programming languages Link to heading

Programming – possibly my favourite part of computer science. I’ve encountered several programming languages during my studies, and have achieved various levels of proficiency in them. In short, I have:

• advanced knowledge of Java
• intermediate knowledge of C, C++, and Ruby (on Rails)
• Basic knowledge of Python, PHP, and JavaScript

Other computer-related languages Link to heading

Well, computers aren’t all programming! There’s also languages used for structuring data and asking databases questions! That said I do understand the following to varying degrees:

• I can use Git and Bash
• I can write advanced SQL queries
• I understand JSON, HTML, and CSS

Operating systems Link to heading

I have daily experience with Linux (both CLI and GUI) and Windows, the former of which I currently use as my main operating system. I’ve also encountered Windows Server during my studies, and am familiar with its interface and basic administration tasks.
